Your Beachcomber Accommodation
Staying in a traditional Fijian bure is a magical experience. Bures are cool in warm temperatures, filled with decorative charm and an ideal, relaxing place to read a novel or soak up the sun on your own private deck.
At Beachcomber you can choose between Premium and Standard bures on the beach, all of which have sun decking, private facilities (including hot showers), refrigerator, tea/coffee makers and ceiling fans. Our Coconut Lodge rooms offer private twin or single accommodation for the budget conscious. These also have private facilities, tea and coffee makers, refrigerators, vanity basin and ceiling fans.
Food and Beverage
Three times a day the island drums signal that it's KANA time - time for breakfast , lunch or dinner. All our delicious Fijian and International dishes are served buffet style and you'll have plenty of time to linger over your meal. All meals are included in your package so eat as much as you want.
Our barefoot bar is unique and right where you want it - on the beach with golden sand stretching right up under the bar. Quench your thirst with everything from freshly squeezed fruit juices, wine, spirits and ice cold Fiji draught beer, to the most exotic island cocktail.
Beachcomber Entertainment
Night time at Beachcomber can be as relaxing or exciting as you want to make it. We bring you Fijian Cultural & Polynesian floor shows four nights a week as well as nightly entertainment from our live band The Beachcomber Boyz. Nightly dancing, beach parties and having fun is one of the things Beachcomber is all about..
Fiji is a melting pot of different races and cultures and thousands of Polynesians from all over the pacific reside in Fiji. Our beautiful Hula girls entertain with Samoan warrior fire dancers on Polynesian Nights every Tuesday and Friday.
Our island staff presents traditional Fijian entertainment - songs and dances – on Wednesday and Saturday nights. Harmony comes naturally to Fijians and our group singing is some of the most beautiful you’ll ever hear. After the shows you’re invited to join in a "Taralala" or "Tui Boto", a free for all, jovial snake or congo dance with lots of laughter!
Scuba Diving
Subsurface, Beachcomber's professional dive operation, offers introductory lessons to the world of scuba diving in the safety of our dive training pool. Once you are hooked, dive with our PADI certified instructors in the marine sanctuary surrounding our island paradise. Subsurface has a 5 star PADI dive rating and caters to all diver experience levels including Nitrox.
Water Sports
Beachcomber offers an enormous variety of excitement on, under and above the sea: water skiing, jet skiing, parasailing, canoeing. tobogganing, sailing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, snorkeling, sport and reef fishing and a lot more. At Beachcomber, you can do it all!
Getting to Beachcomber
Beachcomber Island Resort is just 17 kilometers from the main island Viti Levu (Nadi International Airport) and is served by two luxury high speed catamarans. There are four convenient daily transfer runs (25 minutes from Port Denarau).
