The Resort
Matamanoa Island is a small, intimate and secluded Fiji Resort set in the beautiful Mamanutha Islands approximately 30 kilometers West of Nadi International Airport. The Island boasts a volcanic cone jutting out of the turquoise/aqua blue waters of this unspoiled area of the Fiji Islands. Clad with dense bush and palm trees, the brilliance of the vegetation contrasts magnificently with the white curved sandy beach and pristine coral reefs. Matamanoa was created for those who want to forget the pressures of their business or busy lifestyle amd those who dream of peace and tranquility Matamanoa Island offers total relaxation or a wide range of leisure activities and cultural excursions. Accommodation
Twenty spacious air conditioned bures with king size bed and sofa bed, granite top bar with refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities, coffee plunger, clock/radio, personal safe plus patio with hammock and outdoor table and chairs. The bures are of traditional Fijian design with high ceilings lined with hand painted tapa cloth. They were designed to catch the breeze and feature louvered windows throughout, overhead fans and sliding glass doors opening on to the patio which overlooks the ocean. En suite bathrooms feature twin vanities, granite bench, Italian tiles, hair drier, bathrobes & amenities. Thirteen air conditioned, ground level garden view rooms are set amongst tropical gardens. Each has a king size bed, refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities, coffee plunger, clock/radio and small patio with day bed. En suite bathrooms feature Italian tiles, single vanity, Caesar stone bench, hair dryer, bathrobe and amenities. Dining & Entertainment
Our restaurant features an ocean view from every table. Dine inside, on the deck overlooking the ocean or poolside under the stars. Matamanoa's Executive Chef takes pride in presenting his international menus plus selections of traditional Fijian fare. Full American breakfast is complimentary 7:30-10am. Lunch features a la carte or Table d’hote menus as well as a Pasta of the Day. For dinner, choose from the a la carte or Table d’hote menus, both of which are changed nightly. A seafood buffet BBQ is presented on Saturday nights. Our string band serenades each table nightly during dinner, singing your choice of songs or Fijian songs. After dinner, there’s lots of fun with something different every night; a Mr. Matamanoa contest, crab racing, broom dancing, kava ceremony are just a few. Complimentary Activities
