NI SA BULA! Welcome to Oarsman's Bay Lodge; a jewel in the Yasawas.

Experience one of Fiji's most unbelievable beaches and the number one budget island resort in the country. Set in the remote Yasawa Islands, Oarsman's Bay Lodge is situated on a magnificent turquoise lagoon, silhouetted by the spectacular hills and tropical hue of Nacula Island, near the historic village of Nacula. Built in 2000, Oarsman's offers a warm friendly ambiance to its widely diverse international guests, excellent facilities and prices, all with the warmest Yasawan hospitality.

Accommodation

The newest additions to the resort are two family style bures with an internal interconnecting door. Accommodating up to six people, there is a double bed on one side of the duplex bures and bunks or single bed configuration on the other. A self contained bathroom with solar hot water is on each side. Six individual deluxe private bures are adjacent to Nalova Bay. Each bure has private facilities, a double bed with inner spring mattress and solar hot water system. These bures are perfect for couples or a single bed can be added to accommodate three. Three units are beach front while the other three are just a few meters from the beach, all with unrestricted views of our tropical paradise.

Activities

There’s plenty to do for everyone on the sea and on the land. Excursions by boat, snorkeling and reef trips, hand line fishing, village visits, local craft making lessons, sunset cruises, picnic lunches and more. Complimentary activities include island hiking with a resort guide, volley ball with our staff and our famous crab races.

Dining

Fantastic fresh meal packages are offered at Oarsman's Bay Lodge. A tropical breakfast, light lunch and Fijian dinner are a wonderful way to keep your belly full! A mix of international and Fijian cuisine is available. Local fishermen supply fresh catches and vegetables are sourced from village gardens and the Lodge's own greenhouse. The communal dining area is your introduction to the relaxed and welcoming social scene and you will enjoy mixing with other Lodge guests at every meal. It is a great opportunity to share your experience with our thirty other explorers roving around the globe.

Bar & Drinks

The bar is open from 9.00 am and remains open until last drinks in the evening. We serve wines from Australia and the USA plus champagne, spirits, Fiji beer and a selection of our special tropical cocktails. Plus fruity and alcohol-based cocktails. We stock Fiji Water, a variety of soft drinks and juices.
