The Tui Tai Adventure Cruise is a unique holiday designed for active travelers looking to get off the beaten path and experience Fiji. The expedition combines tropical adventure and a chance to be immersed in the culture of Fiji, visiting places that are reached only by sea. During your adventure you will kayak, mountain bike, hike through rainforests and waterfalls, snorkel along pristine, vibrant reefs, scuba dive in a number of world-class dive sites, visit local villages and more!

Each day the cruise visits a different island with a unique array of scenery, activities and cultural experiences. Trained interpretative guides lead individual and small-group trips. On land, there are walking trails, biking trips to waterfalls, scenic lookouts and village visits. Or, relax on board, sunbathe, or read a book on the beach.

On the sea, explore the crystal-clear bays and lagoons from a single or double kayak. Snorkelers and scuba divers will enjoy a close look at the colorful coral and marine life. Beginners interested in kayaking and snorkeling will receive personal instruction from trained guides.

The A/S ‘Tui Tai’

A/S Tui Tai is a magnificent 140-foot sailing schooner based in Savusavu, Fiji. The ship has private air-conditioned cabins for 24 guests, an onboard massage spa, a full PADI scuba diving operation, Perception kayaks, Kona mountain bikes. 16 Fijian officers, sailors, guides and hospitality staff ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guest voyagers. Other guest facilities include indoor and sun deck bars, indoor lounge/dining and an al fresco dining area.

Accommodation

All cabins and staterooms on board the Tui Tai are air-conditioned and have private bathroom/shower. Linen service is provided daily. Your choice of: 2 Grand Staterooms with queen bed and living room doors that open onto the bridge deck; 2 Staterooms with queen bed; 8 Expedition Cabins with double bed that sleeps two, plus a Pullman bunk for twin sharing or a third guest.

Dining on Board

All meals are designed and prepared by our Chef onboard. Local markets supply many of the fruits, vegetables, spices and fish and our menu is a wonderful combination of traditional Fijian recipes and ingredients and a blend of international cuisine. Special dietary requirements can also be catered to.

Scuba Diving

Among our adventure activities, we are proud to offer excellent scuba diving. ‘Tui Tai’ is a PADI International Resort Dive Boat and our itinerary will give you the chance to dive every day to explore sites in many pristine and remote locations. During the 5-night Adventure Cruise we offer up to 11 dives depending on tide, weather and sea conditions. Under good conditions each island offers dive sites catering to all levels of scuba divers. All rental equipment is by ScubaPro.

Honeymoons

There’s nothing more romantic than sailing under the stars and Tui Tai Adventure Cruises are ideal for honeymoon couples looking to add some adventure to their honeymoon experience.

We offer several special services for our honeymoon guests. In addition to a complimentary bottle of champagne, we will take you to a private beach and serve a romantic dinner there. If you wish, one of our crew will serenade while you dine. A local village "Meke" will honor honeymoon guests who book the luxury cabin. "Meke" is a traditional Fijian festival of singing and dancing, and the local village will assemble the grand event for you.

The following packages include all above plus return air fare via Air Pacific from Los Angeles. Rates quoted are based on the lowest special air fare; if this fare is not available on your date selection the package will be quoted with the next lowest fare available. Prices do not include airport departure taxes, security fees or airline fuel surcharges, currently about $300 per person.
