The Expedition
Tui Tai Expeditions is the premier adventure experience in the South Pacific. Join us for the trip of a lifetime, during which you’ll visit remote beaches, snorkel over incredible reefs, kayak to local villages, and experience the breathtaking locations. Tui Tai Expeditions take guests to places they never imagined, to the natural beauty of Fiji and the kindness and warmth of the Fijian people.
A/S Tui Tai is a magnificent 140-foot sailing schooner. Each day the ship visits a different island with a unique array of scenery, activities and cultural experiences. Trained interpretative guides lead individual and small-group trips. On land, there are walking trails, biking trips to waterfalls, scenic lookouts and village visits. Or, relax on board, sunbathe, or read a book on the beach. On the sea, explore the crystal-clear bays and lagoons from a single or double kayak.
While enjoying your luxury-adventure expedition on Tui Tai, you don’t have to think about extra charges because there aren’t any. Everything is included: every service, mixed drink, glass of wine or beer, every meal, snorkeling, kayaking and spa treatments. For divers we offer optional PADI diving packages and dive courses by our on board dive team.
Accommodation
There are five choices of accommodation aboard a Tui Tai Expedition. All cabins, staterooms and suites have en suite private bathrooms with showers, hot water, adjustable air-conditioning, ocean-view windows, hair dryers and nightly turndown service.
On our Main deck there are 5 plush day beds and the Star deck features private cabanas, 4 day bed style cabanas offering privacy, shade and incredible views. The main lounge is furnished with 3 cozy daybeds, couches, full bar, air conditioning, entertainment system with plasma style LCD/TV, DVD/CD player, and a satellite phone for placing international calls.
Dining & Entertainment
Throughout your Tui Tai expedition, your dining experience will be filled with tasty meals cooked to your liking, breathtaking sunsets as your background, icy cold beverages and indulgent desserts. All of your meals are prepared and served outside on our main deck al fresco ding area, on a remote beach, or near cascading waterfalls. Our menus have been designed by renowned local chef Vijen Kumar. His favorite dishes combine the best locally grown produce and fresh seafood into delicious Asian and Western style recipes. Throughout the day you’ll find tasty snacks, fresh fruit, an array of exotic loose leaf tea and gourmet coffee.
Choose from several cooked breakfast options (made to order to your liking) and/or our cold breakfast. Lunch may be on a remote beach, enjoying a shady spot and a tropical breeze, or near the waterfalls in the middle of the lush rainforest. Dinner is an enchanting, social occasion. Entertainment with local Fijian songs performed by our crew sets a casual atmosphere. Our regular menus include options for most common dietary needs and our chef can adjust recipes to make customized dishes to suit nearly any preference or nutritional restriction.

CHILDREN
Our minimum age for regularly scheduled expeditions is 14 years old. However, during the year we offer Family Friendly cruises with the minimum age lowered to 8 years. Family cruises are scheduled in advance so all of our guests are aware, prior to booking, if a particular sailing date may have any children under age 14.
